With the volume of foot traffic on your property on Halloween, it is a good idea to take an extra look around for potential trip and fall hazards:
- Extension Cords
- Garden Hoses
- Halloween lawn decorations
- Or common at our house, bats and balls that should’ve been picked up
Do you have a new dog and this will be his first Halloween? Are they ok with charging kids in costumes and masks? If not, placing him in a separate room separate room with a long lasting digestible bone, and a TV or Radio is a good idea. Our dog enjoys Halloween but he is a wreck on the 4th so we get him something comparable to a "Purina Busy Bone."
I still haven’t figured this one out, but watch for kids shooting out of parked cars. I have seen able bodied kids getting driven around the past couple of years.
A glow stick attached to younger kids is a good idea - typically safety conscious kids turn into sugar infused maniacs darting in and out of streets every October 31st.
Have a Happy Halloween and a great weekend!!
